Marketing Manager

Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing the marketing plan for different product portfolios within the Group. This will require liaising with the appropriate stakeholders within the business and product development teams, in addition to building excellent working relationships with the key contacts in aligned business units across the organization.




  • Drive a successful Go-to-Market strategy by working with development teams and business unit stakeholders to produce a plan for the future direction of the portfolio based on:

o     long-term customer application and technology trends

o     existing and anticipated competitive developments

  • Formulate a fully integrated marketing communication mix (advertisement, PR, event, DM in both traditional and new media to generate marketing leads) which effectively and efficiently supports the corporate and local business strategy and objectives in four aspects: reputation, demand creation, sales enablement and market intelligence.
  • Set short and medium term objectives to achieve a desirable and relevant brand awareness, imagery, and to increase product understanding and desire of the customers, which will grow the brand equity, customer base and lead generation over time.
  • Be responsible for trade marketing including marketing campaign, success story for potential market penetration, channel marketing plan, exhibition and seminar implementation, performance evaluation and news release etc. to engage end users and distributors
  • Manage product planning initiatives and calendar to best support business growth, to assure maximum return in investment and to build a distinctive edge over competitors
  • Collaborating with product development team, sales team and Corporate team to interpret core competency into public communication approach




  • More than 5 years marketing communication experience, industrial automation, electronics equipment and electronics components industry will be preferred
  • Good sense of branding, familiar with marketing communication tools
  • Strong initiative and judgement, organizational skills and effective time-management a pre-requisite
  • Excellent written English skill is required
  • Ability to devise marketing plan to support business growth in four key aspects: reputation, demand creation, sales enablement and market intelligence.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with cross-functional teams across the organization; prior experience in such a role would be beneficial
  • Ability to develop and articulate product and market strategies using standard positioning and value proposition frameworks
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can work under high pressure
