Job Summary

REAL has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to create, develop and implement
marketing strategies across the entire REAL events portfolio – including the world famous Hong Kong

The marketing manager will be responsible for the day?to?day delivery of marketing campaigns and for
the development and guardianship of event brand identity. This role suits a commercially focused
marketer; someone driven by results and comfortable making decisions based on data and insight; and
has a passion for sport and entertainment.

The role will work closely with the REAL commercial and event teams and will manage all marketing,
PR and comms across multiple external stakeholders, including the daily coordination with the Hong
Kong Rugby Union (HKRU) marketing team.

We are searching for someone who is keen to develop their own career alongside a dynamic
business with an ambition to progress with the organization as it grows. This is a broad, hands?on
marketing role that involves all aspects of marketing.

Specific responsibilities

 Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies, tactics, advertising and brand messaging
to support event goals and objectives.
 Manage and develop external agency and stakeholder relationships to ensure positive ROI
across all media channels, achieving revenue targets as well as brand growth objectives
 Develop and implement integrated marketing plans, across campaigns, events, digital, social
and PR.
 Create, develop and manage content creation across all platforms – websites, social,
 Identify, develop and implement new and innovative marketing opportunities focused on
increasing brand awareness of events and driving additional revenue.
 Ensure marketing strategies and campaigns are data and insight‐led, demonstrating
effectiveness and efficiency
 Regularly monitor and assess campaign KPIs and campaigns are delivered on time and on
budget; evaluate campaigns to show impact and future learning’s.
 Oversee the management and protection of Event brand integrity by reviewing and approving
all internal and external materials to ensure adherence to brand guidelines
 Act as the day‐to‐day marketing and brand contact for clients, partners and sponsors as
 Work closely with the Real commercial team to develop marketing plans to support ticket
and hospitality sales, sponsorship acquisition and retention.
 Work closely with the Real commercial team to leverage sponsor activation and ensure
marketing‐related contractual obligations are being met, tracked and reported
 Create clear and accurate reporting, detailing results of marketing campaigns and media value.
 Work with the HKRU Marketing team to coordinate and utilize resources, including the
management of the Graphic Design department to ensure all projects are completed on time
and without errors.
 Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources among multiple projects.

Your profile

 Minimum 3‐5 years relevant experience, preferably from a sports marketing or events agency
 Substantial experience managing high level client accounts
 Must have comprehensive knowledge of sports and event marketing and excellent skills set
across sponsor servicing, marketing, PR and event management
 Degree level education
 English a must, Cantonese an advantage
 Must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
 Able to work independently, self‐motivated, responsible and be comfortable to work as part of
a team
