Marketing Officer

Job Objective:

Develop and execute supplier marketing program to generate sales leads from international markets and increase their brand awareness of Global Sources products.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with managers in preparing and execute plans to support international market development
  • Develop and improve lead generation plan of online marketplace/App service and exhibition
  • Develop and improve brand promotion plan
  • Create and maintain social media (eg. IG, FB, Twitter), marketing website, and EDM campaigns messages
  • Develop insight of suppliers through internal survey, desk research, customer survey and FTF interview
  • Research on selected industries to create marketing content that increase effectiveness of marketing activities
  • Work with creative team to produce marketing material and sales collateral, including those to be used in physical event
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure that tasks are completed, and programs are delivered on time
  • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or above in marketing fields
  • At least 3 years or above in marketing field
  • B2B marketing experience is necessary and B2B marketplace or trade show organizer experience is a plus.
  • Good command of English and Chinese is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing software (e.g. Eloqua, WordPress), social media operation
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking ability; creativity and business awareness; customer-oriented good team player; basic quality in typography, aesthetics and color
