Expanding their Marketing Team, they are looking for a Marketing Event Specialist who will be responsible to organise events and trade shows, as well as developing social media content and training materials. This job would be suitable for those who are creative and would like to work in a dynamic and fun environment!
Manage and assist the execution of marketing shows/events such as trade shows, product launches, demos and more
Work closely with P&A and Marketing manager to fulfil client's requirements and to deliver projects timely
Responsible for necessary events service's coordination and logistics, e.g. floor plan designs, technical planning, on-site event support and etc.
Act as the liaison between product management, sales, marketing, and the creative design team
Communicate with vendors and negotiates vendor pricing while controlling costs and margins
Produce training materials for internal staffs and external parties, supervise and coordinate events and training sessions
Research, write and assist in the production and distribution of key company publications and other external and internal communications
Support and participates in the marketing team's overall objectives and performs duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree or comparable business experience - preferably Marketing, Business or related field
3-6 years of job-related experience preferably in the lighting, electronics or entertainment field
Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
Solid project management and event planning skills
Detail oriented, flexible and able meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to travel 10-15% of time including some weekends and occasional holidays
