Our client is a leading insurer based in Hong Kong and are looking for a Medical Claims Manager to join their business.

This role will be responsible for heading up the outpatient claims function of the business, primarily leading a sizable team, while enhancing the claims process.

The Role:

  • Manage the overall claims team performance in claims administration and adjudications
  • Develop the team’s knowledge and skillset
  • Monitor and enhance the claims processing turnaround time
  • Develop innovative claims control strategies by initiating system enhancement projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with external vendors, clients and internal teams by providing training or presentation on the company’s claims services
  • Work closely with internal IT and external IT vendors to manage the end-to-end process of system enhancement including full cycle user requirement gathering and UAT

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above
  • At least 6 years’ experience in medical claims adjudication / administration at managerial level
  • Solid technical skills in individual and group medical claims
  • Possess strong customer centricity mindset
  • Good understanding of healthcare network providers' operations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Cantonese speaker with good command of both English and Chinese.
