Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for member recruitment and renewal, include face-to-face meeting with members and potential members, communicate closely by emails and phone calls
  • Responsible for the monthly sales/renewal target being assigned
  • Develop and build membership base through scouting, marketing and closing
  • Monitor, measure and report on member activities and provide relevant information to management
  • Responsible to implement new and innovative marketing campaigns referencing emerging trends and best practices for member recruitment/retention purpose
  • Responsible to prepare daily/weekly/monthly analytical reports via CRM system for membership drive/renewal action planning
  • Follow up members renewal to ensure members settle dues on time, collect reasons for non-renewal, and relay information to management for immediate follow up if necessary.
  • Coordinate with relevant department heads on identifying key issues that helps in engaging members, e.g. advocacy issues concerning our members, and keep track on recent news about their companies, etc.
  • Analyses upcoming renewal data each month and ensure remedial action is taken that focuses on target groups
  • Conduct business process improvements relating to renewals activities, and maximize the use of new technologies, e.g. actively engage members via LinkedIn, responding to posts
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the member retention and engagement campaigns
  • Always maintain excellent relationship with members and potential members
  • Research member interests, collect and organize all member data
  • Actively participate in AmCham hosted events / meetings / activities; and represent AmCham in attending programs hosted by external parties / member companies
  • Responsible for handling and processing members’ profile update and all types of membership administration tasks which require data capture function
  • Assist with all other membership department duties as required
  • Recommend solutions for continuous process improvement

Requirements: 

  • Overseas degree holder in Hospitality, Marketing or relevant disciplines preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of sales / business development experience
  • Sales oriented with strong analytical skills in analyzing data from CRM system as demonstrated in previous roles
  • Background in customer success, operations, customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • A proven track record of developing strategies to retain, develop and grow membership
  • Detail oriented, initiative, able to work independently and under pressure
  • Proactive and good team player

  • Capable of communicating (written and verbal) effectively in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Immediate available is preferred
