Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.

You will:

Conduct training needs analysis periodically to identify skill and knowledge gap.

Design, refresh and upkeep training materials (print & virtual) which include standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the various training programmes.

Deliver training programmes which include classroom, on-job and on-line (e-learning, webinars) formats adhering to the agreed timelines.

Design and administer skills and knowledge assessment at completion of training programmes.

Identify and certify trainers in Train-the-Trainer programmes and carry out training audits during classes.

Conduct training effectiveness evaluations using the Kirkpatrick 4 Levels model – Reaction, Learning, Behaviour, Results and prepare management reports.

Collaborate with Learning & Development department in crafting a holistic tiered career development plan encompassing soft skills and further education.

Implement an effective Quality Assurance programme for both front line and support functions encompassing on-site audits, customer surveys and mystery shopper programmes.

Provide analytical reports based on findings from the Quality Assurance programmes and work with line management to resolve issues and maintain standards.


You should have:

Degree holder in Training, Learning and Development, or related disciplines.

A minimum of eight years in training, learning & development experience, hospitality industry is preferred.

Sound knowledge of Customer Services.

A solid understanding of hospitality industry is an advantage.

Excellent presentation and coaching skills.

Possess strong analytical skills and business acumen.

Fluency in both written and spoken English, and Cantonese, Mandarin is an advantage.
