Merchandising Assistant – Hardgoods

Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Merchandiser and Merchandiser in order process and follow-up with suppliers and factories
  • Co-ordinate samples arrangement e.g. receive and unpack samples, prepare for checking, pack and send to buyers, manage storage and clearance etc.
  • Finalize artwork and print proof with supervisor
  • Confirm price labels and carton labels
  • Remind supplier about FRI and inline inspection booking
  • Liaise with logistics department to monitor vessel bookings and closing date
  • Support general clerical duties

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above, relevant experience in hardgoods merchandising is an advantage
  • Experience of at least 1-2 years as in sourcing / buying office or trading company
  • Conversant with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet
  • Fluent in spoken & written English, Cantonese & Mandarin is a must
  • Self-motivated, ability to work in a team and attention to details
  • Hardworking, good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and willing for routine work
