Merchandising Assistant

Ports Asia Holding (Hong Kong) Limited

PORTS is currently seeking for a Merchandising Assistant to join our dynamic team for multiple labels: PORTS 1961, PortsPURE, PORTS V and Ports International. 

Responsibilities

  • Set up systematic workflow and reporting system to facilitate business and product analysis
  • Manage stock replenishments and reorders, product launch and stock consolidations
  • Work with different teams for shipment delivery, inventory management and product quality
  • Report on general trend, highlight extraordinary result and important issues to drive sell through and business objectives
  • Prepare reports and presentation to senior leadership
  • Develop market and product information; manage line list and provide training to frontline retail team on merchandising strategies
  • Conduct weekly store visits to follow up on action plan to drive business
  • Participate in buy trips, and execute buying activities of all product categories for multiple labels
  • Support on ad hoc duties and projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising/buying
  • Strong PC skills; advanced level in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented and well organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
