Network Consultant
Job MatcherWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Provides consultative direction and technical advice relating to the enterprises’ network infrastructure, addressing reliability, availability, scalability, security, and recovery
- Take the role on technical escalations and drive incidents/problems until resolution utilizing advice
- Work with internal technical teams and vendors for product placement and feature improvements for reliability, availability, and serviceability.
- Creation of network architecture drawings, IP schemas, and other network documentation required for each project
- Proposal Writing and project presentation and demonstration
WHO WR'RE LOOKING FOR
- Degree holder in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years pre-sales / post-sales support or similar experience
- Knowledge of large scale network solutions and layer 2 & 3 technology including, L2 standards, L3 protocols (IP, MPLS, and BGP routing)
- Certificate Holders of CISSP, CISA, CEH, H3CSE, CCIE, CCNP, ACEP, and NSE7 would be an advantage
- Good experience in pre-sales consultancy services and post-sales services in relation to IT Solutions (Infrastructure / Networking) such as Networking, Security, Server, Virtualization, Cloud, Managed Services, Data Centre, etc.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive and can work independently or as a team
- Presentable and possess excellent communication skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin is an added advantage
