Network Engineer (MNC, 5 Days Work)

Fusion Systems is looking for a network consultant to join the growing team in Hong Kong.

Role Specific Competencies

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise new build, installation and maintenance of a variety of Cisco & Juniper equipment including: Collaboration, Route/Switch, Unified Communications, Wireless, Security, Data Center, and Storage
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems
• Replacing faulty network hardware components when required
• Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made
• Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems
• Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
• Coordinating computer network access and use
• Designing, configuring and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.

Project Management

• Comfortable with taking charge of a specific project or projects within our company or for a client
• Able to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of a project
• Work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support
• Able to harness internal resources and take charge of a team to get the job done

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of Cisco experience
• ACTIVE CCNA / CCNP / JNCIA Certification is required
• CCIE is preferred (not required)
• Experience in using wireless tools such as Ekahau and AirMagnet
• PMP Certification is an advantage
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments, ideally at larger Service Providers.
• Strong Cisco / Juniper experience with multiple of the following disciplines: Collaboration, Route/Switch, Unified Communications, Wireless, Security, Data Center, and Storage
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent experience is required
• Must be able to speak and write in Cantonese and English
• Can communicate in Mandarin is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• CCIE certified
• PMP certified
