Job Description: 

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business support staff
  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager
  • Typically does not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervised
  • Applies management skills to improve efficiency and accomplish operational objectives within own unit
  • Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational problems
  • Is accountable for the performance of a team
  • Makes decisions guided by policies, procedures and own business plan that impact the efficiency and effectiveness of own unit and other units with interrelated processes
  • Performs work in support of brand plans; demonstrates link between daily work and company mission; participates in initiatives, program or products with low visibility
  • Ensures actions protect company image and limits risks
  • Actions impacting company image require management oversight and are constrained by policies 
  • Sets priorities for employees to meet daily deadlines; develops plans to meet short-term objectives
  • Works within budgetary/financial objectives set by manager

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Plans the work of employees with a daily or short term focus. Supervises employees and sets individual goals. Coaches staff, supports development and provides significant input into hiring decisions, performance management recognition and rewards
  • Managing one or more of the store functions (sales, merchandising, operations, accounting, etc.) or by managing a particular floor/business in a large volume store.
  • Perform all store management functions
  • May have direct supervision of Dept. Managers, associates and/or Customer Service
  • Prepare statistical and narrative reports of store activities
  • May communicate with GMM/Visual team and/or oversee physical site maintenance
  • AsDelivering a premium consumer and employee experience and implementing/executing global and regional programs to drive business results.

Requirements:

  • F.5 or above.
  • Energetic, team player and service oriented.
  • Fluent English, Cantonese & Mandarin.
  • Interested in sports.
  • 2 years and above retail sales experience is a must (for Full-time Sales and above).
  • 2 years and above retail management experience is a must (for Lead Athlete and above).
  • (***Candidates now working at franchise stores will not be considered.)
