Job Purpose:

Assist in research/ design/ develop advanced analytic models/approach for innovative analytic requirement from BUs/SUs in AI/ Big Data/ Machine Learning, as well as the development of data governance policies and guidelines, and support the data management implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist line manager to analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with a clear objective in mind
  • Develop procedures related to program development and version control using data analytic tool
  • Support line manager to establish and revamp bank wide data governance framework
  • Contribute in data management initiatives of data standardization, data quality, data lineages etc. with collaboration with data owners
  • Support projects / initiatives assigned by line manager

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Quantitative disciplines (Computer Sciences/ Engineering/ Statistics/ Economics/ Business Analysis)
  • Basic understanding in developing analytic solutions/models including the use of both structured and unstructured data sources
  • Awareness of both quality and risk, especially compliance-related risk issues
  • Fundamental knowledge in data related regulations, e.g. BCBS239, GDPR etc.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
