(a) To administer procurement operations including issue and acceptance of tenders, sourcing, contract monitoring, tender and contract negotiations, etc. for purchasing items of wide varieties;
(b) To supervise and coordinate subordinates for provision of procurement and supplies services;
(c) To provide professional advice and guidance to users on procurement and supplies matters; and
(d) To assist in review, development and implementation of procurement systems.
(a) A recognized degree, preferably in Procurement & Supply, Logistics, or business related discipline;
(b) At least two years’ relevant experience at supervisory level, preferably in sizeable organizations;
(c) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience in using e-procurement system would be an advantage;
(d) Good negotiation, problem-solving, time management, interpersonal and communication skills;
(e) A good team player, with ability to work independently under pressure; and
(f) Good proficiency in English and Chinese.
(1) Shortlisted applicants will be required to sit for a written test.
(2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
