Major Responsibilities

Attend to the services support hotline and provide high quality support to member banks on all the clearing and settlement services.  Major duties include:

  • Respond to enquiries and perform operational duties relating to the operations of paper cheques and electronic clearing and settlement, the usage of e-cheque drop box service and the core and overlay services of the Faster Payment System
  • Handle hotline services as assigned by superiors
  • Record enquiries and escalate abnormalities/deficiencies for problem resolution as and when required
  • Manage and analyze all feedbacks and comments received to improve the service processes and quality
  • Conduct testing activities and prepare documentation and reports
  • Perform shift duty on a 7x24 roster basis
  • Support other duties or projects as assigned



  • HKCEE/HKDSE or above, with tertiary education preferred
  • At least two years' call centre experience, previous experience in banking or finance industry preferred
  • Will be required to work at alternative sites and perform evening or overnight shift duties. Attractive shift allowance will be offered for performing the shift duties
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.  Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
  • Candidates with more experience and currently playing a supervisory role may be considered for the officer position
