Our client is a leading insurance provider with a reputable history in providing life and long-term savings insurance solutions for their customers.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will manage the operational risks through supporting the development and monitoring of operational risk programs in order to meet regulatory and company requirements.

The Role:

  • Assist in managing the Operational Risk Framework including establishing key risk indicators, conducting risk assessments and reporting timely on risk issues
  • Providing risk management guidelines and framework updates to staff members to promote risk management culture
  • Monitor regulatory changes and establish appropriate ongoing risk management processes and controls
  • Implement the corporate governance requirement, including the system of governance and other regulatory compliance requirements
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and the impact they could have on the business

Requirements:

  • University graduate with a background in risk management, legal & compliance or audit
  • Solid background in risk management, audit or legal & compliance
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in in-house operational risk function in Insurance /Financial Services is highly preferred
  • Strong ability in balancing risk and business development and have good judgment of issues and risk
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skill
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
