We are looking for an Operations Business Analyst to join the "Global Operational Excellence" (OpEx) team, along with the "Group Transformation office" (GTO) within Williams Lea Tag. The overarching goal is to deliver a successful global creative production operation transformation, with selected highlights including:

  • To make the cost, quality and speed of asset creation and delivery the reason for the customers to buy from WLT
  • To optimize our internal processes though process re-design, rework elimination and tech systems integration - benefits that can be passed on to the clients
  • Greater standardization of processes and workflow giving the ability to consistently perform tasks in a standard way and customize where WLT can differentiate for the clients
  • Ensuring WLT provides ‘first time right’ in all activities allowing teams to focus on enhancing and differentiating our delivery to customers
  • To be able to provide a more transparent pricing/costing model for our customers (a tiered and transparent costing to support models and services)
  • To align the internal operational delivery model and improve dialogue with Tech and Commercial agendas
  • Enhanced ‘Operations Thought Leadership’ to bring increased value to the clients
  • Drive customer satisfaction and relationship improvement
  • Increased off-shoring ability with enhanced production hubs in India and Bangkok
  • To build a high-performance organization for the employees

Key Accountabilities/Activities:

  • Collect data requirements and relevant information to support initiatives across the Operational Excellence Programme
  • Analyse data, formulating and testing hypothesis, developing and communicating recommendations
  • Present complex data driven analysis effectively and concisely to a variety of stakeholders across the organisation
  • Contribute to the optimisation of data analytics across the programme ensuring focus on value add activities, alignment of processes and systems to avoid duplication etc
  • Support the implementation of recommendations and more broadly of project initiatives as and when required in collaboration with other team members

Personal Requirements

  • Demonstrated aptitude for data analytics
  • Exceptional analytical and qualitative problem-solving skills
  • Experience and knowledge of financial modelling and forecasting including working with and reporting on Finance data
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people across all levels and geographies of the organisation
  • Ability to synthesise complex data analysis into simple focused messages and insights
  • Collaborative working style with the appetite to contribute to overall project initiatives
  • Highly-proficient in Excel (experience in other advanced analytics tools a plus e.g. Tableau, Visio, Alteryx, SQL experience)
  • English language skills, knowledge of intercultural sensitivities a plus
  • 3+ years of experience, some operational experience a plus
  • Consultant/analyst from large corporate background or consulting/advisory firm
