Operations Manager – Regional Focus (Ref: OMRF/RS)

You will be responsible for the management of the regional client relationship and services provided to one of our global investment banking clients in Asia. They will oversee and be involved in the operations, manage a regional team, proactively drive change and lead initiatives on behalf of the company, including RFPs and new business strategy


Stakeholder (Internal/External) Service with Operations Management:

  • Advise and support the client and teams on daily matters with clear communication, applying examples of best practice
  • Manage and oversee the operations of multiple sites and services to ensure all SLAs, contractual requirements and client expectations are met or exceeded
  • Present quarterly business reviews to the regional clients, leading and involving the team
  • Ensure all operational processes & procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Manage client invoicing, payroll, budgeting and finances effectively
  • Review and question monthly profit-and-loss and balance sheet statements
  • Build and maintain strong client and team relationships; regularly meet key client contacts, provide fast turnaround to requests and work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve goals
  • Encourage teamwork and continuity across the region; ensure all staff members are involved in generating high client satisfaction
  • Proactively identify opportunities for service enhancement and client value-add


Continued Mentoring and Leading:

  • Work with HR to resolve disciplinary issues in a timely manner
  • Lead, motivate, train and retain staff members. Identify, encourage and develop future leaders
  • Foster a positive, cohesive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment
  • Work with country managers to ensure the regional team is optimally staffed at all times
  • Lead client and staff meetings with confidence and knowledge
  • Manage staff using a ‘lead-by-example’ approach; be prepared to assist with any role when necessary to ensure client service expectations are met
  • Prepare and conduct regular employee evaluations and development planning
  • Delegate whilst also being willing and able to ‘pitch-in’ with operations where appropriate
  • Demonstrate cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity


Adhered Compliance:

  • Develop, maintain and internally present a quarterly Client Account Plan to set growth goals and track progress
  • Ensure strict compliance with established processes, procedures and policies, particularly relating to the confidentiality of client and the company’s information Network with other regional managers to share ideas and best practices
  • Keep up-to-date with news and policies; understand, enforce and communicate changes to the teams
  • Propose suggestions to improve company procedures, profitability and business expansion
