  • Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the activities of the Food Services teams.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Food Services teams through direct interface and communication with the lead members of each team.
  • Provide advice and directions to the reservationists and clients for maximizing utilization of available conference space, adhering to Food Service Approval policies, and the handling of all conflict resolution.
  • Adhere to the policies, procedures and guidelines of the client and the Company, maintain the highest standard possible. Ensure that policies, standard operating procedures and guidelines are in place and followed by associate for all functions.
  • Work with the client to ensure that goals and expectations are fully understood, and then communicate such expectations to the team and incorporate them into all aspects of the Services operation.
  • Maintain close communications with the client to ensure that the Services teams are meeting and exceeding expectations on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage all human resources functions related to Compass associates, including the recruiting, hiring. Support & motivate the team to achieve a ‘best in class’ services by providing effective training and coaching to all team members, ensure their performances are up to standards.
  • Conducting weekly staff meetings, focusing on enhanced communications, departmental effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all financial aspects of operations, i.e. Catering & Café.
  • Continually monitor payroll and other expenses on catering and pantry inventory, ensuring that they are in line with budget and with forecasted levels of business.
  • Develop Quarterly Action Plans for the completion of projects designed to improve services and enhance customer satisfaction, as part of the operation’s yearly initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and globally.
  • Continuous review of HSE practices on site to ensure the team complies with the Company’s HSE standards. 


  • Degree or above in Hospitality, Operations Management, BBA or other related disciplines 
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in Catering Operations with proven track record in supervisory level and people development.
  • Facilities management or hotel background is an advantage
  • Good business acumen with strong passion in food & beverage industry
  • Good knowledge of food & pantry services and conference room booking & reservation procedures
  • Experienced in budgeting and forecasting 
  • Strong leadership ability and team management skills 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Good command of both written and spoken English 
  • Hands on PC skills
