We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Operations Officer, Credit Services.

In this role, you will

  • Supervise and handle the daily operations in various Credit Services and General Banking Services functions
  • Check and authorize accounting transactions and vouchers up to the pre assigned approval limits
  • Ensure adherence to all internal recommendations and internal requirement and procedures manual
  • Ensure the telephone enquiries and feedback from internal customers are properly handled to the customers satisfaction
  • Assist to prepare various Management Information for reporting
  • Assist immediate supervisors in the coordination of work and the supervision of daily operations in the section
  • Exercise prudent and strict control on credit risk management to protect the Bank from financial and reputational losses
  • Provide efficient service to customers by ensuring the agreed service standard are met
  • Maintain positive relationship with solicitors, customer groups and internal departments
  • Creative thought in developing new ideas in line with changing environment so as to update and improve the operating procedures from time to time
  • Contribute to the improving of the operational workflows of the section by participating with initiatives and suggestion
  • Coordinate and promote staff participation in Bank organized events and other team building activities

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Secondary level education or above with relevant working experience in credit operations
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude towards service excellence
  • Hard working and able to work under pressure
  • Good understanding of credit and general banking products and services
  • Ability to adapt to a wide range of work procedure and operational guidelines
  • Good command of written English
  • Pleasant telephone manner and fluent in spoken English and Cantonese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
