Role Summary:

This role is to plan and drive growth and profitability by managing and advising business partners (equity / franchisee markets) in aspects of P&L, sales plan, people management, store development, visual merchandising and inventory level as well as new market development.


  • Develop overseas markets and explore business opportunities by preparing business plans and market development proposal
  • Review and analyze sales performance in each market to identify areas for improvement to drive sales growth in respective markets
  • Study, plan, implement optimal strategy and methods to meet needs of clients and company direction. Done through engaging and directing clients in operations, marketing, product assortment (work with Product Team) and visual merchandising in collaboration with respective corporate departments within the company
  • Conduct market visits to monitor shop fit out, maintenance and VM to ensure global brand image consistency
  • Partner with overseas clients on new locations & site planning in existing markets
  • Liaise with overseas clients to ensure compliance and follow through of company’s standards and operation procedures. Recommend relevant corporate training programs where applicable
  • Negotiate with franchisees for new contracts or contract renewal


  • University graduate in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or other related disciplines
  • At least 8 years’ experience in business development of which at least 3 years at managerial level, preferable from Fashion Retail industry
  • Less experience will be considered as Assistant Overseas Business Manager
  • Strong leadership, influencing, analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong business acumen and integrity
  • Assertive, strategic thinking, mature, self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Regional travel is required
