Packaging Development Engineer (3-month contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and improvement projects of product packages
  • Source and evaluate packaging materials, technologies and concepts, develop practical solutions for implementation on production floor and resolve relevant technical issues
  • Conduct tests and trials to ensure product performance meet with requirements and specifications
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver packaging solutions within deadlines, initiate and lead projects in particular to cost savings and efficiency enhancement
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality standards and stable supply of materials
  • Consolidate reports and analysis, take up projects and other ad hoc assignments

 Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma in Engineering / Materials Engineering / Industrial Engineering or related discipline
  • With 1-2 years’ working experience, with knowledge of materials/product development process (Fresh graduates will also be considered)
  • Knowledge of HACCP / BRC / ISO22000 will be an advantage
  • Self-motivated, well organized and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English as well as computer applications
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
