The Partnership Development Manager is responsible for developing new partnerships with companies across Asia, specifically, Hong Kong and SEA. The primary focus of this position is to initiate and drive new business relationships to sell video production, key sponsorship and events. This role is responsible for discovering, initiating and closing revenue generating deals.
 It is critical the candidate has a strong network in Hong Kong & SE Asia and can build new relationships with C-Level marketing decision makers in diverse businesses across the region. This role requires a team player who will work closely with the regional team.
 

The Job

  • Identify and deliver revenue through new partnerships and sponsorships; Actively participate in the delivery of the company’s credentials to win new business.
  • Generate sales leads through maintaining and growing relationships with clients
  • Analyse and understand each brand’s target audiences, business objectives and strategies to better sell and highlight Viu’s capabilities.
  • Identify growth industries and sectors across the region, analysing opportunities within those sectors and developing partnership propositions that will appeal to businesses in those sectors.
  • The strategic basis for reaching out to prospective clients.
  • Take ownership in the development of proposals and presentations to these prospects.

The Person

  • Bachelor’s degree with substantial experience in similar position
  • Proven record of driving new business relationships and success in an international (with specific SE Asian) partnership development (sales) environment, targeting a range of large companies across all sectors.
  • Prior agency and business development experience including past success in managing brands that have made use of all marketing techniques including event, digital, brand marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Access and industry-specific analysis software
