Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation and production of all items from the Pastry Kitchen.
- Ensure that the operating equipment and general supplies for the kitchen are maintained at the established par level and initiate requisitions for additional supplies and replacements if necessary
- Ensure that food stock levels within food preparation areas are of sufficient quantity and quality in relevance to the hotel occupancy and function forecasts
- Ensure that all food products received are of the required standards, specifications and qualities, stored and rotated correctly, and compile reports if the standards are not met
- Keep personal hygiene and sanitary of every work station at high standard of level
- Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace

Requirements
- Minimum 8 years experience in western pastry/ bakery section
- Excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety knowledge
- A team player with passion and creativity
- Good command in both English and Cantonese
