PayMe Tech lead - HSBC Operations, Services and Technology

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as PayMe Tech Lead.

In this role, you will

  • Manage a team of developers performing system development work and system analysis
  • Develop new functions and facilities and the ongoing systems support of live system
  • Ensure systems delivered meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget to an agreed level of quality
  • In charge of implementing work practices, standards and quality monitoring in IT, during development, implementation and daily use.
  • Investigate and resolve problems arising in connection with IT services
  • Manage the rectification of production system issues with the minimum disruption to the business
  • Lead development teams to ensure the successful development and implementations of IT projects
  • Contribute to technical leadership for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of significant IT systems to regional or local business units
  • Ensure due diligence and appropriate processes are followed when existing systems are modified and new systems are developed with the objective of improving quality whilst increasing cost effective and achieving excellent levels of risk management

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with major or minor in Computer Science or related field.
  • Excellent analytic and problem solving skills and effective communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Good knowledge of strategy, business and market trend.
  • A good command of skills and capabilities in management, project management and technical management are required
  • Qualification in related business and technology disciplines is an advantage.
