Role Introduction

This role will help on the management and execution of performance marketing programmes for Cathay Pacific’s global portfolio with the objective of driving Direct Sales as the ultimate goal. He/she will help translate business needs into new opportunities for continuous optimisation of the programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the always-on performance marketing initiatives (Display/programmatic, SEM, Paid Social, SEO) that engage known and unknown audience by data-driven approach. Own the day to day management of agencies to run programmatic campaigns to achieve KPI under robust measurement framework
  • Manage the budget, resources and priority of global always-on programme initiatives accordingly to marketing goals and business direction on yearly and quarterly basis
  • Manage dynamic creative optimisation (DCO) system for 15 local languages with agencies and vendor, governing the dynamic creative adaption process that address local tactical needs
  • Manage campaign landing page & search engine optimisation (SEO) in order to enhance customer experience & conversion rate
  • Partner with customer experience and loyalty teams to optimise customer journey across external and owned channels
  • Translate needs from commercial and customer teams across global and local levels into new sales and optimisation opportunities
  • Outport communications including regular updates on the latest digital initiatives and advises on best practices
  • Assist the strategy planning of the overall performance marketing programme and synergies between programmatic, search, paid social and other digital touchpoints
  • Work closely with sales and agency teams to design campaign and channel strategy to solve business problems
  • Help address concerns from internal stakeholders across IT, Digital, Web Analytics and Compliance teams on data governance and website loading performance casted by marketing vendors
  • Partnerships with external agencies and vendors to optimise business return


  • A university degree in marketing, technology, ecommerce or other related disciplines
  • 3-5 years solid experience in managing performance marketing programmes or programmatic media for brands with global presence
  • Excellent professional knowledge of performance marketing tools/platforms, e.g. Adobe/Salesforce suite, Google Analytics, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DV360, Facebook Ads, site testing/optimization tools and etc
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills - able to identify, analyse and propose solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with business units and partners
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese. Mandarin is a plus
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail with a high degree of digital sense, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for latest digital and media trends
  • Creative mindset in applying digital strategies/tactics to effectively reach potential customer of different segments and behaviors
