Planning and Testing Manager - Commercial Banking

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Planning and Testing Manager.

In this role, you will

  • Coordinate Sprint planning, platform development, testing, release and post-release processes for the team, ensuring all such activities are conducted according to plan and internal compliance and governance standards
  • Maintain proper project plans to track the above activities
  • Maintain proper audit trail and approval records to support governance on the above activities
  • Provide regular updates to senior management team on the progress of development and testing
  • In a particular system release, summarize all platform enhancements in a timely and organized manner to facilitate Business Implementation and Governance team in preparing front-user communications
  • Organize meetings, take meeting notes and keep proper records to facilitate Sprint, Release and Test planning
  • Support the overall development and enhancements of Actionable Intelligence platform and workflows, Surveillance Risk Datamart, Surveillance Profiles, Actionable Intelligence Triggers, etc. with the objective to continuously enhance Commercial Banking frontline's user experience and the system's effectiveness as an opportunity and risk identifier
  • Advocate and promote the use of data analytics to drive fact-based activity and behaviour in Commercial Banking Globally.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • University degree in relevant disciplines
  • Significant and relevant work experience
  • Highly organized individual, strong in project management area, with prior experience in managing platform release, User Acceptance Test processes and working in Agile or Scrum projects
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, familiar with project or collaboration tools such as JIRA, Sharepoint  and Confluence
  • Understanding of Commercial Banking operations and frontline processes would be advantageous
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated, attention to details
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Fluency in spoken Mandarin Chinese is preferred
