Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (HSVM) offers a full spectrum of asset management services to both private and corporate investors. The funds cover different asset classes, including global equities, bonds, money markets and foreign exchange markets. We also provide asset management services for retirement schemes, institutional investors and charitable organisations.

We are currently seeking a high caliber to join our department as Portfolio Financial Services Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Provide support to monitor and detect any exceptions due to fund flows, pricing and liquidity with respect to in-house Fund Valuation Policy and regulatory requirement
• Establish product management mechanism to monitor the continual operation and compliance of HSVM funds; update spreadsheets to validate NAV figures for investment funds.
• Manage and coordinate resources for business initiatives related to the lifecycle of mutual funds and exchange-traded fund products, including collaboration with fund administrator and business teams, present and escalate to HSVM business committee and senior management as appropriate 
• Assist to review fund accounting statements and participate the preparation of annual/interim/adhoc financial reporting
• Drive and oversee User Acceptance Test (UAT) of system development 
• Manage enhanced reporting requirement from regulatory bodies including HK SFC
• Deliver upon adhoc duties as inquired or assigned by line manager and/or HSVM business teams
• Adhere to operational procedures to ensure compliance with the Bank’s guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements, e.g. SFC/MPFA

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline
• CPA qualification and/or SFC License of Type 1 or 9 Regulatory Activity is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience and sound knowledge of asset management operations and investment products 
• Solid Exposure to fund documentation such as Offering Document, Key Facts Statement
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with strong knowledge of spreadsheet application software an advantage
• Possess knowledge of fund valuation and accounting concepts behind, with good knowledge of SFC/MPFA regulation on authorized mutual funds and unit trusts and related investment products being an advantage
• Strong self-motivation, project management and interpersonal skills, while having ability to work independently and under pressure 
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
