Public Relations

  • Strategize, plan, lead and execute corporate communications programs both internal and external
  • Prepare speeches, press release, lines-to-take, media Q&As, newsletters and manage media interviews; monitor media and public feedbacks.
  • Prepare the contents and coordinate the production of corporate collaterals, including publications, advertising, corporate premiums, etc. for the Group and business units
  • Establish relations and maintain regular communications with media
  • Organize corporate events for staff, customers and key stakeholders
  • Crisis management and ad hoc projects as required

Branding and Communications

  • Develop the overall brand message for Global Sources. Translate brand concepts into actionable plans, and handle execution.
  • Manage multi-channel brand communication campaigns involving mass media, in-station/in-train publicity, social media and integration with other engagement activities
  • Manage internal communications to ensure brand concepts can be applied by different stakeholders
  • Serve as the brand guardian to ensure consistent branding across the company
  • Communicate effectively the brand story and messages to external audiences including media, clients and individual users
  • Manage agencies to ensure high quality deliverables


  • Minimum 4 years of PR/Communications/Marketing experience, in agencies or other MNCs
  • A proven track record of implementing successful communications and media relations campaigns
  • Proven experience of, and demonstrated aptitude for, planning, messaging, execution as well as reporting, ideally with offline events and digital channels like social media and websites
  • Strong communicator and stake holder management, able to understand concepts quickly to formulate communications plans and tactics
  • Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude to take prompt action to accomplish objectives, with the passion and tenacity to overcome challenges effectively
  • Possess excellent verbal and written English and Chinese
