Job Description & Responsibilities
•Lead the end-to-end release process - from planning to production deployment;
•Manage the release schedule for all products and ensure alignment across key teams and partners;
•Conduct release readiness reviews;
•Work with Product Teams in case of a release deployment failure;
•Create deployment, run books and implementation plans;
•Writes and maintains written procedures for Release Management. Configures and implements automated tools and/or manual processes that integrate the Release Management function with other processes;
•Work with release engineer for developing scripts to automate the release process using the release management tools;
•Deploy in-house develop systems to external clients and within organisation following standard procedures and protocol;
•Work with the Project Manager to support end-to-end application implementation services and project delivery;
•Stay close to the business development of various lines of service and cultivate strong relationships with end users;
•Explore and recommend new technologies to improvements to existing IT services.
•Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines;
•7 to 10 years’ working experience in system implementations, solution advisory, and deployment; software design experience is preferable;
•Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills; strong business sense and good business writing skills;
•Strong sense at design of user experience and attention to details;
•Sound track record for successful systems implementation under the role of Solution Architect and Release Manager;
•Ability to maintain effective communication and good relationships with team members;
•Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin;
•Excellent organisational and time management skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure;
•Approximately 50% of travelling required;
•Server experience in Microsoft Server, MongoDB server, Elastic Search server, Neo4j;
•Experience in iOS - iPhone & iPad / Android, Lotus Notes application development would be an advantage.
