Procurement Administrator (Electronic Products) (Ref: CT/CHB/BUY)


Major Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain most favorable price, schedule and terms & conditions; Follow up orders to expedite delivery and shipment as required
  • Execute purchase orders from planning purchase requisitions
  • Ensure returns, credits or replacements are handled in a timely manner
  • Participate in supplier contract negotiation
  • Manage changes involving materials, including but not limited to, sample qualification and material transitions
  • Perform market analysis for commodities being procured and submits reports and recommendations for management review
  • Maintain supplier scorecard that report supplier performance and coordinate supplier Business Reviews
  • Coordinate supplier reliability evaluations via supplier visits, analysis of cost reports, supplier P&L statements, quality system audits, and other data etc.
  • Participates in new product development/introduction teams, concurrent engineering, value engineering and other cost-saving efforts
  • Coordinate all incoming shipment arrangement


  • Bachelor degree holder with at least 2 years' of procurement and negotiation experience, preferable relevant industrial experience in electronic components
  • Proficiency in MS application especially Excel and Power Point
  • Basic knowledge in logistics and warehouse operations is essential
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
  • Independent, well-organized with good analytical and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight schedule
