Procurement Assistant / Officer

Our client, a public listed company in Hong Kong, is currently looking for a high caliber to join with their expanding team.

Job Duties

  • Independently analyze and process routine transactional or low-value tactical purchase requisition.
  • Work with internal clients on formulation of material / services specification and provision of advice on purchasing strategy and selection criteria.
  • Assist internal clients in evaluation and selection of suppliers.
  • Ensure that related documentation complies with approved policies and standards.
  • Handles internal clients' queries.
  • Responsible for organization and planning of simple projects responsively and systematically within a defined framework and timeline.
  • Support corporate procurement initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or relevant professional qualifications in Business / Supply Chain / Logistics and Procurement.
  • Min. 2 year relevant experience.
  • Adequate knowledge in established procurement procedures, standards and guidelines.
  • Technically competent in applying latest procurement systems, technology and techniques.
  • Able to make decision in accordance with established practices and procedures.
  • Knows when to refer to the senior for guidance based on complexity and sensitivity of an issue / problems
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
