Procurement Manager, Supply Chain

  • Procurement of all Supply Chain Services, including Transport, Warehousing, Labour, Equipment, etc including:
  • Conducting market research on procurement categories
  • Gathering and analyzing internal spend and supplier performance data
  • Drafting and/or quality assuring tendering documentation
  • Launching tender activities via the e-Sourcing tool
  • Agreeing evaluation approach and educating stakeholders on evaluation methodology
  • Agreeing appropriate procurement strategies
  • Agreeing appropriate contract terms and commercial schedules for the procurement project
  • Developing category plans and identifying risks, issues and opportunities to generate improvements in the business operations including analyzing spend data v budgets v contractual commitments
  • Supporting the Procurement Leadership team to deliver high value and medium to high complex tenders
  • Contract management including award and managing the DocuSign process and storing contracts on our Contract Database
  • Agree appropriate contract management approaches for procurement projects and assess supplier performance
  • Complete the appropriate governance and approval processes
  • Supporting the completion of Non-Trade Procurement reporting including
    - Saving tracker and saving approvals
    - Supplier control
    - Team meetings
  • Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory and security requirements e.g. Cyber Security.
  • Ensure integrity and ethics are sustained throughout the procurement process

Do you have experience in Non-trade Procurement?

  • 3-5 years or above procurement experience, working in a procurement team and/or in a retail and multi-market preferred
  • CIPS member is preferred
  • Ambition to develop a career in procurement
  • Experience of working in teams and also able to follow end to end procurement process and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and good numeracy and analytical skills
  • Be a good problem solver
  • Proactive, self-motivated, well-organized, efficient and ability to work under pressure.
  • Achievement and goal oriented with good organization skills, ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Strong computer literacy skills with excellent MS Office skills.
