Job Description
We are looking for a high caliber procurement professional to join us. Reporting to the Department Head, the appointee will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary work team to provide high quality procurement services, with major duties include:


  • Develop and implement Group procurement strategies, policies and related procedures;
  • Provide expert sub-contracting and procurement advice to support strategic engineering projects and business development of the Group;
  • Making independent decision on vendor registration and performance evaluation;
  • Maintain effective relationship with strategic vendors and stakeholders;
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary work team to address internal needs in purchases and inventory management, through understanding of business direction processes;
  • Conduct data analysis with the team on Group procurement and inventory activities;
  • Oversee the PO administration and approval processes in ERP system;
  • Develop and manage the preparation and issue of Expressions of Interest, Requests for Proposals and Invitation to Tender to select Consultants / Contractors, including evaluation, negotiation and award of corresponding contracts.

Requirements - Qualification:

  • Higher diploma holder or above in Supply Chain, Business Management or Engineering subjects;
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience with 4 years in management level of strategic contracting and procurement, preferable in construction and engineering industry;
  • Familiar with electrical and mechanical components and supplier sourcing;
  • Candidate with less qualifications or experiences will be considered as Assistant Manager;
  • Strong capability in establishing procedures, standards and guidelines;
  • Good knowledge in the latest procurement trends, systems, best practice and technology;
  • Being familiar with the use of Dynamic AX or other ERP system would be an advantage;
  • An effective facilitator in procurement teams to drive teamwork and deliver outcomes;
  • Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing;
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
