Procurement Officer (Ref: FO/PO/20221206_ct)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform sourcing and procurement of all teaching resources, printing, marketing related services, furniture, IT, Facilities Management and Project related services, and all required services etc. for the school;
• Assist tendering process, perform supplier / pricing evaluation and recommendation, contract drafting, delivery expediting, and inventory control etc.;
• Handle daily routines independently including issuance of purchase order, expediting goods / service delivery, perform goods receipt, delivery coordination, and updating SAP record;
• Assist in handling school insurance matters, and student related administration services;
• Provide support in enhancing office environment and perform administrative services, and support in school renovation and relocation projects;
• Arrange maintenance of general office and all purchase file related records; and
• Assist in various ad-hoc tasks of the department and prepare management report as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines;
• Minimum 2-5 years’ relevant experience in the area of procurement / office administration gained in MNCs and multinational teams / education sector;
• Experience in handling IT and/or Facilities Management and Project purchase category is highly preferred;
• Mature, proactive, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, organized, multi-tasking, team work oriented, able to work independently and under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
• Good interpersonal and communication skill, strong problem solving and negotiation skills;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin;
• Strong PC skills and knowledge. Previous work experience with SAP Purchase order System would be an advantage; and
• Candidates with more experience can be considered as a Senior Procurement Officer.
