The Department
The Strategic Procurement Department is focused on delivering effective business solutions through a strategic management approach of our costs, our supplier base and the continuous improvement of our administrative initiatives.

The Job
You will:

  • Manage procurement activities and obtain the best option for the Club in all aspects of Operating Equipment and Services (i.e. fit out works, furniture and fittings, operating equipment and tools) required for the opening of the new clubhouse
  • Lead the team to support cross departmental tenders and procurement operations and ensure all related activities are in compliance with the Club’s policy
  • Conduct market research and support business users to review and analyze their procurement needs, including sign-off of scope, specification and maintenance requirements for the Club’s PRC projects
  • Liaise with stakeholders to formulate sourcing and procurement strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement for the procurement function through analysis, market benchmarking and sharing of best practices
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to support decision making
  • Monitor the market and make recommendation on new goods, services and latest technology that are most compatible with user requirements and Club standards


About You
You should have:

  • Degree holder in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Administration with professional qualification in Quantity Surveying and/or Procurement from recognized institute (e.g. RICS, HKIS, CIPS or equivalent)
  • At least 10-12 years of relevant work experience in sizable organizations
  • At least 5 years of experience in a PRC construction and/or property environment (construction and fit-out)
  • Technical expertise in procurement and/or construction with OE&S category knowledge
  • Prior experience in hotel pre-opening would be highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement
  • Project management experience would be highly desirable
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese


Terms of employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
