Producer / Senior Producer (Events) - cievents HK

Job Purpose

To ensure the highest standard in our clients live production shows. To ensure the production budget is kept up to date and any anomalies reported. Support all elements of the live show. Mange and effectively delegate to the Production Manager and Production Assistants. Attend relevant supplier functions.

Key Accountabilities

1. Accountabilities Weighting

a) Production 70%


  • Overall accountability of every project you produce.
  • Main client contact for various events with budget oversight.
  • Ability to brief in every department or supplier with a project – technical, creative and entertainment.
  • Understand & have the ability to manage creative, technical, video & data, print design and production.
  • Ability to show call and stage manage shows of various sizes and complexity
  • Management of concurrent projects from end to end.
  • Ensure implementation of project internal systems and procedures.
  • Write and prepare Case Studies.

Performance Measures

  • Client timelines deliverables met

b) Reporting 10%


  • Accountable for the entire budgeting process.
  • Maximize profitability opportunities on each and every Production.

  • Financial deadlines are met.
  • Input of financial data in CIP.
  • Group Reg and WIP entries are up to date

c) Client Relationship Building 10%


  • Ability to manage existing relationships.
  • Proactively seek & source new sales leads to maximise the potential client base.
  • Negotiate at a senior level with established and potential suppliers and clients.

d) Training 10%


  • Proactively manage your available training opportunities as outlined in your training roadmap.

  • Help the Snr Producer to manage the budget
  • Understanding & ability to brief technical, video & data, print design and production.

  • Complete own job reconciliations in the team outstanding for more than 6 weeks.
  • Timesheets completed by the end of each month.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all client budgets and data entry in ciperforma.
  • Actively reviewing their files to maximize margin improvement.

  • Provides outstanding professional service by exceeding all team clients’ expectations.
  • Responds positively and promptly to all client complaints and ensures resolution to the client’s satisfaction.

Tertiary qualification in business or related field. Desirable
