Your role and main responsibilities:

Involving in baby/children’s fashion retail (offline and online), wholesale, marketing and manufacturing, your focus is on product in the Mainland China market. Not only in identifying opportunities, but also to maximize the alignments between market needs and manufacturing/sourcing are your major responsibilities to drive sales and to meet financial objectives. Working in a dynamic environment, you will be the hub coordinating different teams of retail, design, merchandising, marketing, etc.  

  • Conduct market analysis and monitor sales/margin/sell through and product performance to identify opportunities and challenges for growth and development
  • Involve in developing strategies for new products from idea generation, research, design and development,packaging, value analysis,pricing to product launch
  • Review and plan the whole product structure, from collection, category to SKU level, from time to time to response the market effectively and efficiently
  • Manage the pricing structure, cost and margin tracking
  • Work closely with the design and merchandising teams to monitor product development and related projects, coordinate with different parties for the satisfactory outputs within budgeted cost and progress to ensure meeting of deadlines
  • Together with retail and marketing teams, plan and drive sales/marketing programs to achieve business targets, and evaluate the effectiveness
  • Compile regular reports and participate in ad hoc assignments and projects

Your requirements:

  • University degree in Business/Marketing/Fashion or related discipline
  • 5-7 years solid relevant experience in product planning or buying with knowledge in apparelretail, wholesale or manufacturing preferably, in which 2-3 years’ experience in supervisory level Possess entrepreneurial spirit and be able to own the business and operation
  • Innovative with strong business acumen
  • Excellent analytical, planning and management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive, willing to work under pressure and take up new challenges
  • Good presentation, interpersonal, communication skills and attention to details
  • Good command of both spoken and written Chinese, Mandarin and English
  • Proficient in computer literacy, applications and MS office, especially Excel: familiar with vlookup & pivot table is definitely an advantage
