Key responsibilitiesG 

Responsible and accountable for the management and growth of an assigned ethical and retail market segments in Hong Kong and advanced wound management product line(s) in support of the overall Company strategy (70% develop local strategies and 30% execute global / regional strategies)


Key responsibilitiesG 

  • Manage product in support of the overall Advanced Wound Management Strategy.
  • Maintain close contact with and understands the needs of the customers and the sales force 
  • Prepare business forecasts plans and pricing proposals for specific products
  • Localize corporate marketing strategy to meet and implement both short term and long-range objectives for assigned market segment product line(s).
  • Monitor customer requirements for both existing and future products. Develop program, event and strategies to support global growth of product lines within respective market segment.
  • Remain constantly informed about competitor product lines, pricing, and positioning of market share.
  • Provide product marketing or training presentations to sales representatives, health care professionals, and buying groups to promote product use. Provides necessary education and support to doctors, nurses, and other clinicians in order to promote overall effectiveness of clinical trials.
  • Monitor and evaluate revenue to annual plan and forecast and adjusts strategy accordingly to attain annual goals.
  • Interface with the Regional team to obtain necessary approvals for new products.
  • Identify consulting faculties and clinical sites for use in product development activities. Monitor customer requirements for product design input. Effectively defines, organizes and directs customer input sessions to define customer requirements.
  • Support event organization, compliance process and event planning.
  • Interface with Sales Management staff in securing input on product sales potential and forecast, input on sales/marketing strategies and programs, and in providing ongoing sales support to ensure successful tactical implementation of strategies and programs. Responsible for New product launch, investigating potential. Provide input on sales / marketing strategies and programs, and in providing ongoing sales support to ensure successful tactical implementation of strategies and programs.
  • Provide recommendation to the Sales Manager on pricing based upon margin objectives, comparable competitor pricing and company guidelines.
  • Continually seek new applications for company products based on market needs; remain informed about competitor product lines, pricing and positioning of market share and communicates trends to Management.
  • Review sales promotion materials in conjunction with the Sales Manager and QA Specialist, and provide input regarding concept, layout and design.
  • Remain informed about medical/surgical/technical procedures and information by attending applicable seminars, classes and workshops for continuing education units.
  • Assist sales team to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key customers within assigned market in compliance with the S&N Ethics Policy.

Candidate QualificationsG 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • At least 5-7 years successful sales & marketing experience in Medical Device companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in independently product management, including budget planning, product launch, and product life cycle management, pricing management, etc.
  • Experience of work successfully and productively in cross functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese.
