Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Professional Service Manager (Community Services) provides leadership and oversight of our Community Services to promote the mission of the Association and to efficiently provide highest quality and effective services.
The incumbent is responsible for the development of strategic and tactical plans to maximize the effectiveness of Community Services at the Association. He/ She should strive for excelling service quality, strengthening collaboration with the government, the welfare and health sectors, and related organizations; and ensure the financial sustainability and operational efficiency of related services and programmes.
He/ She should also make effective use of existing strengths throughout the Association to establish partnerships and collaborative relationships with other service units to communicate agency decisions, to design and manage programmes to advance the Association's mission.
The ideal candidate should possess at least 10 years of social service experience with no less than 5 years of leadership experience. Bachelor Degree is required and a Master Degree is highly preferred.
In addition to good management, communication and interpersonal skills, he/ she should possess strong problem solving and people management skills and be able to motivate, lead and mentor a high-performance team. The proactive individual should also possess the quality of being an effective team leader and a cooperative team member, with forward thinking skills. English and Cantonese fluency a must.
