The appointee is required to lead and manage the School of Nursing of the College and make significant contribution in programme validation, strategy development, operation and quality assurance programme in teaching and learning. He/she should work in partnership with other senior staff and external agencies including relevant public, private and statutory bodies. The appointee will work closely with the College’s senior management team to advance the School in achieving its mission of quality education, excelling in research and scholarly activities, and supporting the College to become a private university in the long run.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in a relevant discipline and professional qualification; a valid membership / certificate in respective discipline, if appropriate; at least 10 years of substantial relevant experience in teaching and research in the tertiary education sector, programme development and programme leadership; a proven track record of outstanding academic leadership; evidence of outstanding research output in the relevant field(s) with strong research track records and impact; an international reputation in high quality scholarship and research in related disciplines with international refereed publications in top-tier scholarly journals; and regular contacts with professional bodies in relevant sector / industry.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
