Ultimately, by delivering our smoke-free future, your work could change the lives of a billion smokers. Your 'day to day' You will be employed in Hong Kong under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL).

PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. for the Smoke-Free Products at electronic Product Development Center (ePDC). You will lead the NPI & Electronics Project Managers team, who are dedicated to support all projects within the Product organization. You will develop, direct and deliver the strategic programs and projects for Product.

Build the high level strategy for Product programs and projects with a time frame of 5-15 years resulting a significant influence on the organization and budget figures. You will interact and advice Product Group leadership and corporate management on programs strategy that aligns with business objectives and priorities. Responsible for developing a robust and flexible project and program methodology for use throughout the organization, as well as effective project and program delivery. You are responsible for: • Product, Packaging, Accessories Technical specifications to deliver Benefits & features • Cost target • Launch going target • Industrial engineering as per Design leader overall brand design directions • Product features Design to Value.

  • Post-launch support • Change Control Responsibilities • Develop portfolio of project and program management services (project analysis, project execution, project delivery) for all electronic accessories streams while building the strategic partnerships on the corporate management level. Ensure adoption and implementation of project and program management methodology and coordinate project and program management mentor • Set, allocate and handle resources required to conduct all projects and programs on Product and electronic accessories (AC adaptor, cable, case, softlines...etc.); anticipate and mobilize cross functional resources when required (procurement, legal, technology, finance, 3rd party suppliers and consultant, etc.). Drive high performance of assigned resources. Direct the execution of programs by mobilizing both internal and external resources, balancing priorities and adjusting prioritization across programs according to product development progress, evolving regulations, market opportunities and program risks • Constantly review, approve and prioritize the projects across Product function to ensure the programs are executed on high level and has a big impact on organization results • Continuously optimize the distribution of programs and functional activities among partners by balancing short and long terms needs.

Short term to achieve the best quality, time & cost mix for current studies. Long term to ensure sustainability of the business relationships for future studies • Lead a multicultural and cross-functional project team, as well as internal and external resources to guarantee successful project realization. Identify training needs in collaboration with internal/external customers and management team to assure project teams' coordination and performance • Craft an effective communication strategy and plan, and advise its implementation throughout the organization. Ensure adherence to all PMI policies and suggestions on security and compliance by leading the assessment and implementation of IS Security requirements in order to minimize risks regarding confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information as (to be) processed, stored, retained in information systems • Ensure the development and distribution of quality project-related documentation to all interested parties, including project plan and schedule, project charter, meeting minutes and post launch evaluation report.

Ensure that project information supplied to management is realistic with respect to cost and timing in order to avoid financing problems and delayed completion • Manage activities to develop optimal technical solutions in order to satisfy project requirements and present new creative possibilities. Resolve complex projects related issues by analyzing, identifying and facilitating recommendations to achieve optimal solutions • Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by partners, and implement adequate processes to ensure the security of information of a confidential nature Who We're Looking For • Degree in Engineering or equivalent, MBA is a plus • 15+ years of Project Management Experience in a multinational environment, within consumer electronics or electronics accessories industry • Shown knowledge in Manufacturing Practices, Product Specification & Process Manufacturing Standards, Global Quality System (Procedures, Equipment Standards and Work Instructions), Industrialization and manufacturing processes, Procurement & Supply Chain practice and principles • Proven experience in the consumer electronics sector as well as manufacturing, experience of leading sizable cross-culture teams and remote teams • Strong Project Management, with ability to lead development / improvement of Project Management tools and process • Demonstrate experience in handling a sizable project management team • Good command of English is a must • Risk management and mitigation skills • Product regulation and compliance understanding What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
