Program Manager – Implementation Policy

Our client is a Global Logistics Company, they are seeking for a Program Manager to handle Implementation Policy, the successful candidate who has outstanding knowledge for Dangerous Goods to ensure all legal and safety requirements are met and to provide functional leadership to the Field Operations and guidance to Commercial in this specialist area.
 
Main Job Responsibilities :
 
You will reporting to Center Department Head, responsible for defining, supporting and managing improvements to regional processes in regards to handling restricted commodities, also accountable for the follow up of Day-to-Day Operations regarding Restricted Commodities for the Center. Liaising with partner airlines is a key element to ensure maximum Commercial opportunities at the same time as ensuring full operational compliance with IATA/ICAO, country civil Aviation and airline regulations.
To provide the Network with regional regulatory updates and variation procedures, manage account approval process and ensure successful implementation of global policy, develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and compliant handling of Restricted Commodities, to planning& deliver and manage training courses including application training, follow up on incidents and its related reporting , to provide technical expertise and on-the-ground support in relation to network operation matters and participate in industry related workshops at local, regional/ global level. 

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent with over 10 years in the air transport and / or air express industry, within which 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Good knowledge of Airside and Airline standards, including those relating to cargo handling, aircraft loading and ramp operations.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and procedures relating to the transport of Restricted Commodities by air.
  • Excellent knowledge of IATA/ICAO requirements.
  • Excellent relationship skills and able to influence internal and external parties including suppliers, joint venture partners, industry groups, competitors, governments.
  • Be strong project management skills, and ability to build and lead a line and functional team.
  • Ability to understand the key issues in complex situations and provide solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrated fluency in written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin.
