Job Descriptions

  • to act as a tour guide, introducing the vision, mission and various features of the Organization and Foodstep Journey;
  • to assist in designing and implementing tour experiences on an on-going basis;
  • to handle public enquiry and follow-up including tour booking, with excellent visitor satisfaction;
  • to assist in collecting visitor feedback and profiles;
  • to prepare marketing material (including website management) to arouse public awareness of Foodstep Journey programs
  • to support the management of part-time staff and volunteers members;
  • to assist in organising group tours, workshops and any other publicity events; and
  • to support the outreach education team to deliver education talk and workshop at school when needed
  • to carry out the general administration (including oversee equipment / facility management) of the education centre;
  • to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the management of the Organization.

 

Job Requirements

  • a recognised diploma / higher certificate, holding a degree will be an advantage
  • a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in customer services; experience in marketing, fundraising or organising corporate events / tours would be an advantage;
  • a self-starter who is committed, forward thinking, pro-active, possesses strong problem-solving skills,
  • dynamic personality and can-do attitude and proven ability to achieve targeted goals;
  • professional telephone manner and customer-oriented mindset; ability to work successfully with extremely diverse patrons;
  • a good team player with an eye for detail, and an ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment;
  • proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese word processing;
  • excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, writing and presentation in English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese Word. Experience in database maintenance.
