Department of Philosophy

The appointee will mainly serve the Master of Arts in Practical Philosophy Programme (MAPP). He/she is expected to perform clerical and administrative duties for the MAPP and for the Department. He/she will be responsible for (i) handling MAPP student matters, reception service, and general office operations; (ii) updating and maintaining websites; (iii) assisting in seminars and other student activities; (iv) providing clerical assistance to research projects. He/she will also be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Programme Director and the Head of Department.
Applicants should have (i) a Diploma / an Associate Degree / a Degree or an equivalent qualification; (ii) one to two years' working experience (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply); (iii) general knowledge in using Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.; (iv) the ability to write and speak effectively in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese.
Salary and Benefits
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year.
