We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager (Senior Manager) to join our Project Management Officer (PMO). You will support the Head of Project Management Officer in delivering change initiatives across the business and seeking to drive enhanced customer and business outcomes.  These initiatives are strategic transformation programmes/projects which are often cross-functional in nature that contribute toward the strategic goals and visions of the company. 

What You will Experience

The Programme Manager will drive product change initiatives from initiation, business case creation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling until closure. You will be accountable for the management and delivery of programmes/projects to time, quality and within approved budget.

While engaging with product SMEs for identifying impact of new fund products or changes to existing mutual/pension funds products; you will also work closely with wide spectrum of stakeholders and partners, including product development, investment management, investment operations, marketing, compliance, legal, etc. to enable effective programme and project governance.

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Collation of impact assessment and feedback into project team with regards to feasibility, time-lines, and resourcing
  • Recognize and mitigate risks, resolve issues, identify dependencies and pro-actively manage any corrective actions or change requests throughout the lifetime of programmes/projects
  • Accountable for successful execution of all aspects of business change delivery, including Target Operating Model implementation, solution delivery, training and communication 
  • Provide regular, accurate and appropriate change reporting and communication to Sponsors and Senior Management to ensure the status of progress and that any associated risks, issues or changes are recognized, understood and managed, with the appropriate escalation when necessary
  • Ensure the development and distribution of quality project-related documentation to all interested parties
  • Maintain a positive attitude and act as team player in supporting team activities and initiatives
  • Assist to build a team with strong business sense and project/change management skills

​What You will need to Succeed

The Programme Manager will act as a Change agent with ability to challenge status quo constructively; capable to lead and motivate different functions and delivery teams to achieve common goals.

Proven experience delivering product change projects in asset management firm with In-depth and hands-on project management, business analysis expertise, and exceptional interpersonal skills will lead you to success.

You will need a high degree of drive and motivation to ensure delivery of objectives in a timely, efficient and effective manner, with the ability to work in a fast-paced change-oriented environment under time pressure. Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set is essential to ensure efficient and effective customer service delivery.

Other skills, experience and competencies include:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience working with Product Delivery, IM, Investment Operations, legal, compliance and Client Services
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and decision making by analyzing and interpreting data
  • Excellent communication, influencing, planning and organizing skills
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively with ambiguity and change
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Agile Certified/Scrum Master, with Agile knowledge and adoption experience is an advantage
