WWF-Hong Kong will launch a new project on corporate and community sustainability specifically in developing and executing a public engagement campaign which aims to build awareness on sustainable lifestyle and consumption by the use of citizen science research methodology, as well as forging collaboration with corporate to promote sustainable production.


This role is responsible for supporting the implementation of the project, assuring all project deliverables and activities are completed according to the defined time schedule, quality standard and budget plan.



  • To prepare detailed execution plan for the field research including methodology, sampling, timeline, staffing and costing.
  • To solicit support from fashion industry or collaboration partners for co-organising engagement activities such as training on clothing labels or sustainable cotton. 
  • To coordinate recruitment of volunteers for the field research.
  • To supervise, monitor progress and report findings of field research and engagement activities.
  • To work closely with communication team and identify interesting stories for communicating to general public.
  • To coordinate with other internal and external stakeholders for smooth daily operation of the project.


  • Degree holder or equivalent with 2 years of experience in sustainability and environmental management, social science research, journalism or other related discipline
  • Good understanding of current environmental and conservation issues especially related to sustainability and fashion business
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds, seeking collaboration and synergy among work.
  • Be pragmatic, result oriented, positive and have can-do attitude.
  • Be creative and proactive, willing to take controlled risk and new responsibility.
  • Independent and can be a good team player.
  • Proficient in computer skills, statistical analyses, desktop and social research
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua)

This new position is on a 22-month contract basis. The renewal / extension of appointment will be subject to organizational needs, availability of funding and job performance.
