The Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour (MScHRMOB) Programme is offered and managed by the Department of Management, Lingnan University.  This full-time programme began in September 2010.  The normal duration of the programme is one academic year full time.  The Programme provides students with an internationalised and highly interactive learning environment.  It aims to equip students, entering either with business degrees or non-business degrees, with the necessary management competencies to pursue careers in human resource management and leadership.

The appointee is expected to take up a wide range of administrative responsibilities for the MScHRMOB Programme.  Major duties include but not limited to:

(a) providing administrative support to course/seminars delivery, and other tasks pertaining to course operation;
(b) coordinating administrative processes for examination and course evaluation;
(c) coordinating visa application, and support admission / registration processes;
(d) assisting in purchase, reimbursement and payment matters;
(e) providing support to the general administration of the Programme Office;
(f) performing other duties as assigned by Programme Director and supervisor.

The appointee is required to work irregular hours occasionally (including evenings, Saturdays and Sundays).

 

Requirements

Applicants should have
(i) a Bachelor’s degree or above with relevant experience in the tertiary education sector and academic programme management;
(ii) good written and oral communication skills and proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
(iii) high competency in MS office and webpage applications;
(iv) good analytical skill to perform administrative duties independently, efficiently and under tight working schedule;
(v) a great sense of responsibility, and be well-organized.

 

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.  Appointment will normally be made on a fixed-term contract of up to two years.
