The successful candidate will be a part of now TV’s Content Development team and will support its overall content strategy including the evaluation, selection, and scheduling of Video-On-Demand (VOD) programmes. In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate with content providers and internal parties on all operational aspects as required including day-to-day functions such as arranging programme and promotional materials delivery, dubbing and/or sub-titling, encoding, scheduling, compliance classification, programme censorship, quality assurance and on-air promotion / marketing support, etc.
  • Ensure all programme and promotional materials meet launch specifications and required delivery / logistics timeline.
  • Solely responsible for content curation content editorial, preparing metadata and input of programme information into content management system.
  • Plan and manage programme scheduling and monthly highlights to ensure services meet marketing objectives.
  • Maintain programming log to keep track of on-air / off-air dates, length of exhibition period, license period, contract expiry date etc. as required for the services.
  • Develop external and internal usage and viewership reports for monitoring and reporting purposes.

The Person

  • University graduate in any discipline with minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Experience in program scheduling in TV industry is a definite advantage
  • Familiar with movies, kids and educational content and interested in new media development
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Detail-minded, well organized and good sense of priority
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word processing
  • Good command in both spoken & written English and Chinese
