Project Admin (1 Year Renewable Contract)

Our client, an International Investment Bank, is currently seeking for a high caliber Project Admin to join their COO APAC Business Management Team in their HK Office. The role will partner with a wide number of stakeholders in the bank to support the COO governance within the region.


Reporting line:

Director, COO APAC Business Management
This contract role will suit ambitious candidate with 1-2 years’ experience, ideally in banking or financial industry. Our client is opened to candidates’ previous background as long as you have passion to perform well.

Responsibilities:
Governance

  • Regional follow-up and support for the different audits
  • Assistance to enhance the COO APAC Governance, Policies and Procedures
  • Implementation and maintenance of relevant indicators to measure and understand clearly where our processes are vs regulatory requirements
  • Proposition and implementation of improvements in COO APAC tools and processes
  • Development and maintenance of standardized communications templates
  • Assistance in the preparation of the reporting to HO and the business

Project Portfolio/Project Management Office

  • Consolidation of the projects portfolio, their priorities with help of project managers
  • Preparation and consolidation of PMO specific metrics (number of projects delivered, delays, etc.).
  • Assistance in the preparation of the project follow-up ensuring delivery and quality assurance of COO APAC perimeter objectives and project deliverables

Budget/Costs Control

  • Assistance in the COO APAC budget exercise
  • Implementation of the enhancements in the budget process and the expenses management.
  • Tracking and review costs spent against budget
  • Implementation of annual Asia allocation methods and keys for COO APAC perimeter

Requirements:

  • University Degree Holders Business, Finance or related discipline
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills with ability to develop concise and effective communications for specific audiences
  • Good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and project development lifecycles.
  • Good interpersonal skills in building positive working relationships with diverse teams
  • Innovative approach, interest in new technologies
  • Able to work independently with close attention to detail, manage key relationships and escalate issues appropriately
  • Creative, propose new idea to improve the existing processes
  • General proficiency with MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Experience with O365 will be appreciated
  • Proficiency in spoken/writing skill in English
